Privacy Policy

Effective Date: November 5, 2026
App Name: Nonogram Cosmos
Developer: CiddiPumpkin

1. 📌 Summary

Nonogram Cosmos does not require a separate game account. Game progress is stored on your device, with an optional manual backup to your Apple iCloud account. We do not send your game records to a developer-operated server.

The app uses Google AdMob for advertising and Apple’s App Store for the optional Remove Ads purchase. If you email us, we receive the information you include in your message. These services and choices are explained below.

2. 💾 Information Stored on Your Device

The app stores information needed to run the game and preserve your progress, including:

The app does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, or Apple account password.

3. ☁️ Optional Manual iCloud Backup

When you choose Save to iCloud under iCloud sync in Settings and confirm, the app uploads a snapshot of your game records and puzzles in progress to the app’s private CloudKit database for your signed-in Apple account. The snapshot includes a save date and data format version. Each confirmed save replaces the previous snapshot; this is not automatic synchronization.

The app temporarily uses an app-scoped account identifier supplied by CloudKit to check that the same Apple account is being used. It does not request your Apple account name or email address.

Restoring a backup requires your confirmation and replaces the game records on the current device. Your sound and haptics settings on that device, and promotion codes already redeemed on it, are retained. You can restore the snapshot on another device signed in to the same Apple account. Apple processes iCloud data under its Privacy Policy and applicable iCloud terms.

4. 📊 Advertising and Google AdMob

Nonogram Cosmos displays banner, interstitial, and rewarded ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK. To provide ads, measure performance, analyze usage, and prevent fraud, Google may process:

The information processed depends on SDK configuration, device settings, and applicable consent status. On iOS, access to the advertising identifier (IDFA) requires your App Tracking Transparency permission. You can change that permission in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Refusing tracking permission does not prevent basic gameplay, and ads may still appear; it does not stop all ad-related data processing.

If you purchase Remove Ads, the app stops requesting ads and does not start the Google Mobile Ads SDK on later launches.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy, Google’s advertising information, and Google Mobile Ads SDK data disclosures.

5. 🛒 In-App Purchase (Remove Ads)

Remove Ads is an optional one-time purchase made through Apple’s App Store. Apple handles payment, and the app does not receive your payment card or billing information. The app checks the signed purchase record provided by Apple on your device, without a developer-operated server, and stores whether ads are removed on your device. You can use Restore Purchase to recover the purchase on another device signed in to the same Apple account. Apple’s handling of purchase information is covered by its Privacy Policy.

6. 🖼️ Saving and Sharing Postcards

The viewing mode lets you create postcard images and share them through the iOS share sheet. If you choose to save a postcard to Photos, iOS asks for permission to add images to your photo library. The app only adds the image you choose to save; it does not read your existing photos. Anything you share is handled by the app or service you select.

7. 📮 Email Support and Privacy Requests

The Contact us option opens an email draft addressed to plander.cs@gmail.com. The draft includes your device model, app version, and operating system version to help us investigate issues. You can review and edit the draft before sending it. The app does not send the message automatically.

If you send an email, we receive your email address, message, and any attachments you choose to include. We use this information to respond to your inquiry and handle your request. Your email provider also processes the message under its own policies.

For privacy questions or requests to access, correct, or delete information, contact plander.cs@gmail.com. Depending on the request, we may need to verify your identity or direct you to Apple or Google for data they control.

8. 🗂️ Retention and Deletion

Game records remain on your device while the app uses them. Deleting the app removes its local app data; offloading the app or restoring a device backup may preserve or restore data.

Deleting the app does not necessarily delete an iCloud snapshot. You can review the available controls in your Apple account and iCloud storage settings; options vary by operating system and service. The app currently has no separate in-app command to delete its CloudKit snapshot.

Support correspondence is retained as needed to respond to requests, resolve issues, and meet applicable obligations. Apple, Google, and email providers determine retention and deletion of information they process under their own policies.

9. 📝 Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy when app features or data practices change. We will update the date on this page and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
